Chroma Key Tutorial | Filmora Halloween Special

In this video, Alex is going to show you how to create the demon Tree Lord using the chroma key feature in Filmora. Thank you to everyone who watched our Halloween Special short film. If you haven’t seen our Halloween Special, you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/8qc4FrnWlkw SHOOTING GREEN SCREEN or BLUE SCREEN What do you need? - Camera - Tripod - 2 pieces of Blue or Green paper - Fake blood mixture Before shooting get the fake blood mixture ready. We used corn syrup, red and green food colours and a bit of cornstarch. Mix corn syrup with the red colouring, then and slowly add green colouring, drop by drop. Add the cornstarch to thicken the texture. At the end you want to have a reddish brownish dense liquid. For the Blue or Green screen, you need 2 pieces of paper. Cut a hole the size of your arm in the middle of one of the pieces. This blue screen is going to isolate the arm from the rest of the body. When you have everything ready go outside to shoot your blue or green screen so you have an even lighting in both of your screens. Avoid direct sunlight and you probably want to avoid afternoon times as the light is very strong and creates harsh shadows. We also added some dead leaves in the hole around my arm to cover any open spaces showing.
